www4Network Acceptable Use Policies

Use of the www4network for illegal activities of any kind, including unauthorized use (or attempted unauthorized use) of the www4network or other machines on the Internet, forging header information or user identification information, and software piracy is prohibited.

World Wide Web

Use of web pages for business purposes, or the advertisement of products or services for sale by your business in your web pages, requires a www4network Business Account or www4network E-Commerce Account. Sites taking credit card orders require an SSL-enabled www4network E-Commerce Account to properly safeguard credit card information.

The www4network reserves the right to require an upgrade of an account to a higher-end server for bandwidth, server load, or other considerations. Sites which receive extremely high traffic may be required to move to a higher-end web server.

User agrees that any material, text or images that are hosted by or made available through the www4network will not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, statutory, common law, or proprietary rights of others.

Pages containing adult-oriented material must contain appropriate warnings and safeguards to prevent unauthorized access by minors.

E-mail

Sending harassing or mass unsolicited e-mail is prohibited. Forging user or header information in e-mail is prohibited. Use of programs such as MFLASH or storage of such programs on www4network servers is prohibited.

Public FTP Sites

Use of the www4network FTP server for advertising purposes requires a www4network Business Account or www4network E-Commerce Account. Reselling FTP space is prohibited. Using the www4network FTP server for the exchange, transfer, or distribution of pirated software or software designed to facilitate copyright infringement, unauthorized use of computer systems, credit card fraud, or any illegal activity is prohibited.

Storage and Transfer of Files

Storing, transferring, or allowing to be transferred (this includes FTP and the Web) any www4network file that is not located in the user's own directory structure and owned by the user is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to sending via FTP, allowing outside access to, mailing, or otherwise giving access to any file that is not owned by the user.

Unauthorized Access

Any program, utility, or file that can be used to allow unauthorized access or gain unauthorized information about a computer, network, or file is prohibited on the www4network. Any attempts to run, compile, or use such software is prohibited.
